Wireless Internet
September 9, 2007 by ratcheer.
I am having a pretty good time with my wireless Internet connection. I am using the Opera Mini browser on my Samsung A717. I have found mobile-friendly apps or links for Gmail, Google Maps, Fandango, National Weather Service, and several other interesting things.
My AT&T 3G and HSDPA connections seem to be very fast and reliable.
Overall, a good experience, so far. I haven’t gotten a bill yet, though.

My week
September 1, 2007 by ratcheer.
It has been an eventful week.
On Monday, my doctor reported that I have a condition I didn’t previously know about. So, I have to completely revamp my diet and take another medication. Bleh!
Also on Monday, our new cell phones arrived. Tommy and I got Samsung A717’s and Carolyn got a Nokia 6102i. Today, I signed Tommy and me up for internet access and text messaging. It is hard to figure out how to use them, effectively. It is exciting, but puzzling.
It looks like my Braves are falling out of the pennant and wild card races. Alabama plays, tonight, though!
I used D. R. Harris Arlington English shaving soap with an Israeli blade all week. It is excellent. Next week, I will use George F. Trumper’s Coconut Oil soap with a Swedish Gillette.
I need to post more often and have better focused posts!
Tim
