All were enjoyable, but my favorites were <i>Ilium</i> and <i>Olympos</i>. These were a two-book series that was a combination view of the world far in the future combined with an account of the Trojan War. Sounds very odd, but it works for me. Also very good are <i>The Terror</i> and <i>Drood</i>. Since the above post, I have read several more novels by Dan Simmons. All were enjoyable, but my favorites were Ilium and Olympos.
